    map

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but if you take the A59 Skipton to Harrogate road, when you see the big golf balls on the left hand side (Menwith Hill), turn right at the junction there (B6451). This should take you to Bland Hill (see above map).

my returned form said 'runner 167', i havent a clue if this literally means there has been 167 entries from runners, if it is its going to be quite a big event, considering last year i think there were about 40 or something (this is what someone told me)

the more the better as it will mean more people to follow and hopefully not get lost

    The Bake in The Box

Look out for The Bake In The Box, a caravan on the A59 at Blubberhouses where Sean McCool makes "a mouthwatering selection of sweet and savoury pies. Each one is freshly made and served piping hot, with a shelf life of no more than 2 hours" - according to a recent Sunday Times article.

Will be missing out on this one. Not run much in the last 4 weeks and it might be a bit much. Hope to do 13-15 off road from home though.

I hope everyone enjoys it and has a good run

Well this was an interesting experience! Good training for 3ps and great to see you again huwski. Met Egor and stringman (it's been ages!) but no other forumites.
Generally a bit stiff this morning. Specially my knees where I fell!

Ready for another one some time.

sort of enjoyed this, good to put people to names, moo and huski, didnt catch anyone else. it was quite a quick pace early on (as moo pointed out) and i got caught up trying to keep up with someone a bit quicker than me so i ran our of steam coming of rocking house (?) and then took a wrong turn going down into blubberhouses. the run along the res's seemed to go on and on.

    three peaks next
