I ran the first ever High Cup Nick Fell Race, fell in love with the place and ran the race the next two years. Sadly I didn't get to run it after that but I made a point of having a walk up there last June as part of the 30 Days Wild Challenge.
A lovely place, see for yourself: my-30dayswild-challenge.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/day-28-walk-in-place-of-outstanding.html
please could somebody point me in the direction of the results for this one...
Scramble the rock face through the glare of morning sun — to run
Weather forecast is rain in Dufton tomorrow, anybody doing this race?
first time in 3 years I've missed it...brilliant race
I can't be there, but as Ian says, brilliant race, the brainchild of Dave Cannon! Check the MWIS site, the heavy rain may well come through later today, with showers tomorrow. Sorry, mind was elsewhere! Dufton Pike was the brainchild, High Cup Nick still brilliant and the same weather outlook!

A circular route mostly downhill
I've had it pencilled in to attend but am wondering whether a 2hr+ drive solo from Liverpool will be worth it if greeted by disaster weather.
Although it looks like it will be a wet race, it will be worth it for the cakes etc in our village hall! Hope to see you tomorrow. Morgan
