Hour and a quarter steady trot along Addingham Moorside toward Ilkley and back with a bit of detour to the Doubler Stones. Beautiful evening with great views to Pendle, Ovenden Moor, Beamsley Beacon etc.

Scunthorpe 10K last night, approached as a training run to help me continue to ease back into running, 51.28...but I wasn't last! Definately in need of more hill training, but hopefully another forum member is going to help me out there. I was getting all excited based on my pace during the race that I would do a sub 50, until it dawned on me that 10K isn't exactly 6 miles, ah well, next time
No pain no gain...if still no gain try more painkillers!
5 or 6 miles up Pen y Ghent and back today; my second attempt to try and run following my crocked knee in May. I felt pretty good going up but was very wary of my knee coming down and took it steady. All the same I ran all the way and, at least at this precice moment, my knee still feels okay. I'll have to wait and see whether it stiffens up over the next 24 hours.
