    hi yiannis

its one of, if not my absolute, favourites. I've always gone the ridge way. its nice in the snow. the only time that descent from the ben is good is in snow when it makes a fantastic bumslide where you can descend 2000 feet in 10 mins with no effort.

Nice one Yiannis. We'd(Shaunetto and myself) have stopped for a beer with you if I'd known. we went through FW Friday pm on our way North. We had a lovely night on the Kintail ridges

I found the write ups on here useful so thought I'd better chip in my own.

Great write up, enjoyed reading that, well done

    ps Your split to top of CMD looks out by 3 mins : 1:41 + 0:41 = 2:22 not 2:19 ;-)

Good catch, thanks. Clearly not long enough on that table.

Ally, enjoyed your write up - very entertaining! Saw your comment on the Ramsay thread, and yes - I felt an idiot too geting stuck in the trees! Various other mishaps like following the grid line rather than the route trace when we got the GPS out in the mist also added to the general air of ineptitude. Congrats on you Tranters.
