Be careful what you wish for, mine are old enough and now monopolise the tv with American dad, The simpsons, Futurama and South park...... bring back Rupert the bear and Andy Pandy

That made me laugh! Actually I was laughing in anticipation. I tried to smuggle it in whilst you weren't looking.

cartoon [Ital., cartone=paper], either of two types of drawings: in the fine arts, a preliminary sketch for a more complete work; in journalism, a humorous or satirical drawing.

I also used to like the fundutational(?!) ones. Was an Oz cartoon called Bright Sparks in which a cartoon robot took 2 cartoon kids around the world explaining stuff to them, overlaying the cartoon on film footage. There was another one in which blood cells, etc. were anthropomorphised as different body functions were explained.

This is the basis of all my biological knowledge to this day!

Didn't Bod used to drink Diet Coke - hmm, hmm I mean milkshakes? Hey hang on a minute we need a different definition: a film made using animation techniques to produce the appearance of movement.
