Ok - I know that the usual suspects are on here all the time but...
The forum currently has 1,848 members, which sounds great until you look at the stats (I know, I'm sad, should get a life etc etc) - 750 members (40%) have only made two or fewer posts, and 350 have taken the trouble to register but have never posted anything?
Why? Was it something we said?

i know that there are folk who register and regularly read whats being posted but never post anything themselves.
Conversely there are some who post a hell of a lot but 99% of which is drivel.
Mentioning no names of course (ahemm, i lounge here on my sette).
I think alot of folk are under a complete misapprehension that they need to know what the hell they're talking about in order to post
Could be people who registered then forgot their details, so set up another account. Or those who have alter egos to put across different points.

Perhaps someone lurking on here could break their duck (as it were - no animals harned in the making of this thread!) and let us have the benefit of their thoughts - we promise not to shout too loudly at them!
Surely they'll be sticking to the serious fell running type threads
