    Two weeks, no booze

It's going well, not touched a drop since New Year - no Tonight's Real Ale, no Tonight's Wine, no Tonight's Crabbies

Feel so much better for it *SMUG*

But bloody hell I could murder a glass of any of the above right now :sneaky:

    Re: Two weeks, no booze

The weekend is not too easy MG I have to say! :closed:

I am hoping to make it 4 weeks (29th) when we are going to a party.... However I am going away with work next week and Thursday night is a big group night out, all expenses paid - it will not be easy to turn down a free glass of vino or two! I have also had a few arguments with my boss this week over lack of pay, so free wine could do as part compensation!

We will see if I can behave myself

Couldn't manage that, total alcohol free zone . Have managed about 7 weeks on new regime, which is 1 night a week - whatever (as much as) I want and another night a couple of beers. 5 nights dry.

Managing this as I always have something to look forward to at the end of the working week. Certainly knocked off quite a few "units" a week, as now I can't drink as much on the "much as I want" nights. Hope to continue this regime - though holidays and celebrations don't count

Good work moley to be honest that is what I will aim for after my 4 weeks of completely abstaining. It's a bit boring not having a glass of vino on a Saturday night!

DT good work on the carrot sticks

First trip to pub since 30 December for me tonight - but only 2.5 pints (and no crisps!!) at my new fave Leeds city centre drinking establishment Veritas - same chain as Narrowboat & Bar T'at among others.

It doesn't count if you are too ill to drink DT :closed:

I am entering the most dangerous phase of abstaining. Newcastle Upon Tyne with a bunch of ale drinking engineers for the next 2 nights!
