Anyone done this (6th June). Am hoping to get up for a recce next Wed so if anyone has got any tips on the route I would appreciate it. It takes in Bowscale, Blencathra & Souther fell. I am praying to the hamstring god that I am able to do it!!

T'was my first ever fell race and i have a very soft spot for it. All i would say is the first slope is the hardest and when you're climbing blencathra, veer right a bit to take the most direct line to the summit.

i'll be there - work permitting.

I intend to attend.

Went over that way for a recce' last night. Though as I dont know the route it wasnt really a recce', just a run up some fells.

Any clue as to the race route?
