Anyone fancy going round the half tour of Pendle in the dark?
I'm not 100% sure of the route, but I'm sure there must be enough people out there who do?

I might do but it depends on the date.
I semi remember the first half of the full tour but my memory would be extremely dodgy in the dark. Its that long gradual climb to the top (not far from Big End) out of Barley then the 'longest, gradualest, super duper decent in the world' TM followed soon after by that falling off a cliff descent - I think the half tour then breaks to the right here where the full tour went up and left. Enough information to lead a team of night runners to their doom then!
I think I could do the route if it was a clear night, but if it's not I might struggle.
I can do a Tuesday, Wednesday or a Thursday night.
I'll consult the oracle Hopey and get back to you; I think she's away next week meaning that I won't be able to leave my daughter on her tod in the evening but the week after could be good to go.
No problem let me know when you are free, I'm sure a few from Lostock will come along.
Any of the Bats fancy having a trot round?
Yep - might even be able to find the way in the dark
No good if it clashes with our Tuesday or Thursday bat runs though... Wednesday would be best.
PS - but not Wednesday 27th (Sharphaw Owl event!)
The race does not always go to the swift, but to the ones who keep running
I'm up for it if you can lend me 1 of your your 10 lamps Hopey! Also depends what day (night) it is. I'm OK with the route in daylight/mist so will prob be OK with several thousand watts. Er, pub after I pressume?
I'll be behind the runner with the biggest light
