Another of these southern hill races; 27 and a bit miles, 3,450' of climb on farm tracks, paths and open downland....Sunday May 4th http://www.threefortsmarathon.org.uk/ . Anybody else doing it or the half?
Cheers - Raymond

My left knee seems to be in ok shape after my 3 Peaks disappointment so I'm still on for this. I understand they will take entries on the day so any other southeners who fancy it, you haven't missed your chance.

'Ow do - bumped into you at PPP, sorry to hear it didn't go to plan!
Took a look at the map. Perhaps you could suggest finishing the run at the seaside? It'd be an ace conclusion with the added bonus of a refreshing dip!
I bit off a lot more than I could chew; my left knee and my legs more generally hadn't got over last week's 3 Peaks and come 19 miles (2 hrs 39 mins) I decided to call it a day.
That'll learn me - Raymond
Oh no! Sorry to hear that, tough luck.
