You should pass for an over 40 on Saturday anyway.
You should pass for an over 40 on Saturday anyway.
Weathers' shaping up a bit, but nowhere near as good as last couple of years (yet?)....
fingers crossed for some frost, it's thigh deep treacle up there at the moment!
Yup. I've got me snorkel on standby as well as me skis.
Drink as much as poss at Moscar.
Mine froze last year in the bottles
and the bag. No drink till Snake.
Sunglasses for the snow.
It was BLINDING!
Hope the weather is TOUGH!
It creates better stories for
weeks to come at the pub.
Best of luck to everyone.
Glad I'm not there!
All Watershedders: go to bed NOW!!!
I'm off, bit later than I'd hoped!
And we are off rather late tomorrow night too!!
It's going to be really Boggy & more than a little Soggy!!!!
Woke up at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep. Bugger.
Almost time to go......
Good luck folks...
see you @ the start
& hopefully @ the finish..
Bring on Swains Head!!
Any news?
Did you get wet?
Was it muddy?
Anyone fancy joining me for a bit of a run this afternoon?
Brilliant organisation, as usual!
Many thanks to the army of marshals & organisers..
Wet, cold & very very soggy/boggy...
Not the nicest of nights.. (in fact fairly horrid!)..
Almost consumed (around dawn) by "man-eating" bog at Cut Gate..
Wandered about a bit on Bleaklow, Hmmmmm (it was a bit misty & that new green grass??!)!
Found it much tougher than "normal", due to heavy ground.
Congrats' to those at the sharp end,
(Team Montrail 1st O/A, Planet Fear 1st Mxd, Tod Totty 1st Lassies, Rucksack Club 1st Vets)
great winning times - given the conditions..
Eventually the day turned into glorious sunshine with magical views..
(for those of us still grinding it out on the course!)..
Next year, again....?
Maybe, but much more warped than usual this year!!!
