See the light in the night
Not really sure why they call it a 'mini mountain marathon'. Probably a marketing thing
The navigation is much easier (it's about route choice more than micro-nav), the distances much shorter, and you don't have to carry much. Perfect!
i'm gutted i'm missing this, so please, all dont come on after and say how good it was
go play on the m 6, now, how does that sound
not sure of this has already been posted but start has changed to somewhere in bakewell, check darkandwhite events site
enjoyed this on sun, 1st mini mm ive doen, will try next year, did anyone else have probs with a cp11, we were sure wed dibbed it but it didnt show on final print out
It worked for us. Maybe one of you dibbed but the other didn't?
Great event considering the last minute change of venue, I guess they must have had the course pre-planned as a bad weather backup.
We were pipped at the post for the mixed pairs league, by a single control - one which we knew at the time we should have gone for - luckily they were also quicker than us so even if we'd gone for it we'd have come 2nd. Probably our last chance for glory, next year we'll be in the Vets class which seems to be full of fit people!
seemed quite nice day too weather wise
go play on the m 6, now, how does that sound

your poss right, altho id still like to hold that it was the cp or dibber rather than one of us! we got completely lost looking to cp 16 and lost lots of time, i think we were last mixed vets team in, so any change in position will be improvement!
will hopefully be back next year, was decent day when it warmed up a bit, bit of road running though which is never good for my fell shoes!
No problems with dibbing CP11 either.
Excellent events, on the list for next year already.
