Interesting bit of info Kilian Jornet is planning on "establishing new mountain running records across the world"
Pity no more info about what countries he's heading for, be great to see someone like that try Billys BG record

Somehow, I think he may conveniently forget Billy's record....
It does says he's heading for the GR20 record on Corsica in mid-June.

This is currently set at 36 hours 53 minutes by Pierre Santucci in 2005.
Don't think he'd have much trouble with my time for the Integral de Sierra Nevada (15:05) set in 1989. In fact, I hope he conveniently forgets that one cos it might be rather embarrassing...
I failed to get anything from the blog. You mean kilian got the record? Phew. Having done the route in a quick-by-walking-standards backpack time of 9 days, these times seem way more ridiculous than say the Cuillin Main Ridge record (for which a quickish scrambling time is say 2-3x the record).
There's a better story here:

And here are the section profiles:

I managed an hour quicker than Kilian Jornet in 2007, albeit split over 5 days!
I think we've got a bot
Its gone now lol
