Yes , Good Luck Stef.
Remember too - all those of you who are over 50 - have the mammogram when you are offered it. Its every three years, its a bit uncomfortable but it saves lives.

Hope it went as well as it can today Stef.
Yes hope it went ok.
Thanks guys and girls.
Thanks for all your support.
I didn't have the treatment today; on inspection it turns out that it needs to be done under a general anasthetic as there is quite a lot to remove. I've been advised they'll be able to do a better job in theatre.
So it's back on the waiting list for now. Fingers crossed for another cancellation - I want this over and done with as quickly as possible.
Stef
Hope it is sooner rather than later Stef, not good having this hanging over you
Best Wishes Stef
Hills and Guinness!
keeping fingers crossed for you Stef that it's sorted sooner rather than later
I work for the NHS and to be honest get a little tired of the constant criticism NHS staff receive when they work in really difficult circumstances and under a lot of pressure .....this was part of the reason why when i recently had a health scare I wanted to tell friends and family about how impressed I was with the efficient and speedy assessment I received at our local breast clinic...i was seen within a week and the staff were ultra sensitive and professional and to be honest i didn't find the mammogram half as bad as I thought it would be...thankfully it was a false alarm and i am fine but i too would also urge others to go and get checked out .......this thread has reminded me of the other test i shud do too so thank you and hope it all goes well
and we run because we like it through the broad bright land
Fingers crossed Stef
Mrs Bother reckons she doesn't mind the tests (but she does fancy the Doc )
