Mine's also up for grabs as now going ski touring - I don't know how to transfer it though but anyone who can manage this is welcome to it

[QUOTE=IanDarkpeak;318270]What happened Martin, Nothing serious I hope?
Don't think so Ian. Twisted my left ankle coming off Kinder before WH and then my left calf was in pain half way down the descent off WH. Chose the discretion as opposed to valour approach. First ever dnf. Seeing the GP tomorrow.
You posted a great time. Well done.

Going downhill fast - until I fell over
did my last proper training for this yesterday - gonna do a bit of speed work next week, then on a four-day walking hol next weekend might fit in some hill reps.
Would dearly like to beat 4 hours but I think that's beyond me - 4.15 more realistic.
I hear the conditions underfoot are more trail rather than fell - that correct?
went over whernside and inglebrough today(sun 11/04/10)
amazing how quickly the ground has dried out,was quite fast,paths/tracks solid.
might wear the new walshes, more for comfort than anything else.
I ran and ran until my Muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid, ....And then i ran some more.
I saw Paul Dugdale out today doing last big run before 3P's yhe was running from Kendal round Kentmere n Horseshoe & return he was hoping for a 3.5Hr plus training run.
