We've had a good winter so far.

Probably have 30 runners on our email list, we run it through the business just to give us some degree of protection, normally ~10 or so get out for a 1-2 hr run, normally at a pretty good pace.
Started doing "guest runs" so others can lead the run on their part of Snowdonia so we get around a fair area.
Tuesdays full moon was a great headtorcher for me - Alderman, Binn Green upto Thomas Platt memorial cross, Fox Stone, descent and contour to Charnel Stones, river crossing (ok stream) and then upto Wimberry - crackin rising moon over the Dovestones Quarries....
Consider yourself lightly; consider the world deeply.
3 x 550ft hill reps on Ilkley Moor. Felt dreadful on first but was only about a minute per rep down on last summer's efforts, so quite chuffed

Just been out for 6 miles incorporating most of Oakworth haul race route. very cold, icy and atmospheric. Tawny owls serenading on way home. Drinking shiraz now. Life's a bitch????
I've been doing loads of headtorching.
I've converted my running friends and now they are more addicted than me.
First run in the snow tonight. Stars and cold, cold, cold. Fantastic.
Cracker tonight, had XC today so couldn't get out in the light; left Ogwen Cottage at 7pm, -5, up to Llyn Y Cwn. over Glyders Fawr and Fach > Bwlch Tryfan > Llyn Bochlwyd to Ogwen Cottage, lovely clear night..nippy...took just over 2 hrs so not bad going in the snow.
Great run last night, along the network of little paths to the South of where the Snake Pass comes into sheffield. All frozen solid, with just enought snow to give some grip and help pick out the features in the light of a headtorch I'd forgotten to charge up! 11km in a bit over an hour. Stars were amazingly bright, even when Sheffield's glow was still easily visible. -5 all the way round, just about perfect conditions really.
