any chance of bumping into forumite(s) on this one...?

Scramble the rock face through the glare of morning sun — to run
Dorset Doddle Daz, its a fantastic event on a beautiful part of the coast. Did it in 9hrs 50mins as a LDWA, on a lovely sunny day. Dont underestimate the 'undulations', loads of places to visit around Dorset. camped at Durdle Door, i'm sure you and family will have a great time. BY THE WAY, this is one suvvener you wont have to worry about, we've booked a holiday to bloody Tunisia! Unable to change it yet, but if it does get cancelled I know where this suvvener will be heading. May see you there. Enjoy.
Was just looking for a total ascent figure for this and came across your post. Looks very tempting, as I grew up in Bournemouth so could count on a bit of support. As the previous guy said, this will be a punishing event. The climbs are very steep and come thick and fast in places.
Just read somewhere that it's 3000m total ascent!
I just saw an ldwa forum thread which seemed to settle on 6300ft
really looking forward to this
running it with a Stockport Harrier lass who's originally from dahn sarf (Virginia Water I think), so she will be able to translate for me :w00t:

Looks like i'm going to give this a bash in August.
By all accounts 32 miles and 6300ft, hopefully on a sunny day, should be lovely.
