Winter Hill League
The 3rd and final round in the 2010 Winter Hill League takes place on Saturday 11th December at St Johns. The short 2.5 miles course is run mainly on well defined tracks within Slieau Whallian Plantation making it a sporting but very enjoyable race. The course will be fully marked. Start time is 1.30pm with registration at the car park opposite the Farmers Arms from 12.30pm until 1.15pm. All competitors and spectators are asked to use this car park and not to park on the Patrick Road.
Following the race there will be a presentation of league awards and refreshments at the Tynwald Inn.
A number of entries for the 2011 Manx Mountain Marathon have been received already. We’ll publish a list of confirmed entrants in late January and update it on a weekly basis after that at http://www.manxfellrunners.org/.
