My exhibition at the Mercer Gallery in Harrogate opened on Saturday 10th September and is on until January 2012. Its called 'Hester Cox: An Artist's Impression' and is prints inspired by the Vale of York Viking Hoard. The treasure is on display as well and is well worth seeing. This has been the biggest project I've worked on and I'm giving it a plug here in case anyone is interested...hope that's ok!

Good luck with the exhibition Hes, looks interesting, I will try and get to see it.
Bet you're relieved to finally get the show done and dusted, getting exhibitions together is certainly the most exhausting thing a person can do.
The latest addition to the Dominon Gallery was unveiled today. It's only been 6 years since the race took place..... :w00t:

Thanks Ze Monsta (and Alf and Freckle). Its been a lot of work, late nights, weekends and no holidays this year but its all been worth it. I have been really privileged to be able to meet all the experts at the British and Yorkshire Museums and even got to handle the treasure. I hope I get to work on a project like this again but in the mean time, I'm back to making new work and restocking galleries.
