    Hello

    Hi all,

Ive been a memeber for a while but I've been reading and learning rater than contributing (don't quite feel experinced enough...)

I've been get more and more into running off-road and did the Lakeland 50 and Ring O' Fire last year. This year I'm doing the Lakeland 100. In preperation I'll be doing as much hilly off road running as I can fit in and as such this forum is becoming a more and more useful resource.

I thought I'd introduce myself before I start asking stupid questions...

    Hi Mark

You weren't put off by the responses you got to the toe nail thread then?!

If doing the Lakeland 50 and Ring O'Fire and planning the Lakeland 100 makes you not experienced enough i'd better get my coat..... I'd say you're easily qualified to join in - theres no entry criteria for the forum as far as i'm aware - and apparently theres no such thing as a stupid question (though i'm sure i've asked a quite a few myself)

    cheers

    Re: Hello

Thanks Tid. A bit of banter is part and parcel of this type of forum. Just knowing that others have the same/ worse problems was comforting... The reason I feel somewhat under experienced is because I've only really done the longer stuff and not had the confidence to enter a 'proper' fell race. I will do, but like all new sports when you're a noob it feels daunting.
