    Chesty cough

We've been here before, if you've got a cold and it seems like it's on your chest don't run. That's fine I can live with that.
But my question is this at what point do I start running again, when the cough/cold has cleared completely or when it's pretty much gone?

    Graeme
I am not a medical professional, so do not know whether my approach is an appropriate one. I suffer from asthma, thus at least twice in winter I would have a chest infection, triggered by a cold air (despite running with a buff over my mouth); I normally do not stop running unless I run a fever/feel very tired from infection; normally resume running sessions when fever fades away, that is after two/three days of antibiotics. My GP suggested to wait with running till the end of the course 5/7 days
    hope it helps

As long as you feel OK in yourself I see no reason not to do some steady running. Obviously it would be different if you had aches and pains or a temperature or felt generally weak.
