RESULTS !! - How's that then ????

Adam was just 11 seconds outside his own record in those atrocious conditions. His record time was set in dry weather. Today we had mist and sleet, and the ground was "wet" to say the least !
Well done to everyone who took part in this, my final race, and thanks for all those years of organisational pleasure. That's your lot.

Thanks for your kind words. I am proud that I have introduced many hundreds of people to areas that they would probably never discovered had it not been for my races.
Also, as I said in my White Holme report in the current Fellrunner magazine, that I have raised thousands upon thousands of pounds for charity in the process.
As for whether anyone else will want to take the events on... who knows? I haven't had a queue of folk banging my door down to sign up. Anyway, in my opinion, the events were good but they have run their course, (no intentional pun!)
A while back, a chap came up to me and said, "Hey, you should be nominated for an MBE or summat" I replied, "Well, the nomination has to be made by someone like you!". He said, "Oh, I haven't the time!"

I rest my case. [And dream on!]
