    Ultra runners get this I understand - my partner gets it after just an hour or two; the reason behind it is debated but probably multi-factorial with centrifugal force from arm swinging, constricting clothing/back pack straps, overhydration, and increased blood flow all playing their part. I doubt 3,000 ft of elevation is relevant.

    Come on Danbert - when have you ever been at 3000ft? I can't think of a Park Run that gets close

    I thought this thread was about somebody who had been sucking, instead of blowing, warm life back into their fingers and overdone it.
