Track last night, 8 miles total, quick session, drills then 3 x 1k at around 3:15 pace and one lap recovery then 3 x 200m.. it was 7:00 and still 27 C and humid.. have Rostock Nacht Half Marathon tomorrow and 30 C expected.. so not a pb day..
8m 1800ft, much more pleasant with a fresh wind blowing the humidity away.

fri.. 6 miles road and trail... 7:00 min mile ish...:
Sat. am: 3.2 mile easy run. pm: rostock nacht halb marathon (Rostock night half marathon).. 1 mile warm up.. 13.3 mile run... 1 mile cool down.. 2nd in 1:17:40.. humid conditions.. undulating trails.. so happy enough, mate won in 69, another one won the marathon in 2:30 but then had gut ischemia.. bloody shits... not good..
sun am: 4.5 mile road run steady. BBQ.. pm: 8 miles steady.. legs felt worse than this morning..

M: 17 miles.. all on hard trails.. felt battered.. just sub 7..
T 11.7 miles with 6 miles on trails.. 4 x 2.5k loops in the woods at 6:45 down to 5:50 pace..
w: 12.3 miles at 6:20 pace on roads.. hard work.. both tired.. should have been comfortable.. it wasn't.
ascent wise... 1000ft max for all 3... cumulative...:thunbdown:

sat 15.5 miles 1200m ascent... Swiss alps..
sun Sierre Zinal.. strangely tired.. 19.5 miles 2100m ascent. pm: 2 mile trail run
mon 3 miles trails
tues: 12.5 miles at 6:55 pace... quads sore
wed: lunch 4 miles 8 min miles. pm: rostock spendenlauf.. charity run.. 10 euros for a 2.5 k loop run as much as you want.. did 5 k then did another run on my own... so 9 miles in total... rsan the 5k around 18 min pace so nice work out.
1.6 miles felt rubbish went home!
