Is it possible to do the BG without aid? I once ran for 14 hours when I was lost in Snowdonia once, so I know you can go for a long time.

You will not get your round verified to get in the BG club, you need witnesses for that. Once you have a verified round then you can register a solo round.
If you are not bothered about getting in the club, just want to do it for personal satisfaction then yes it is possible, Charlie posted details of his solo round last year, look back though the old posts for his write up, it was very interesting.

How do you run for 14 hours in Snowdonia without coming across a road?
What do you mean by "without aid"? As others have replied, for BG club membership purposes your round needs to be witnessed, that is a third party records your times at each summit and road crossing. (Third party just means someone other than yourself, it doesn't have to be the same person all the way round) You could run the round completely self supported with someone by your side to do the recording but who otherwise offers no assistance.

Without me you'd be one place nearer the back
#bob#, has anyone ever told you that you look like a fat Dennis Bergkamp?
