I'd go fully prepared, I was over that way today and it was a bit mucky to say the least. As well as windy, icy and snowy.

I am taking full kit as always but also additional tops.
Gunner be snow and Ice all over the moors so keeping warm will be important when running or if injured.
I over heard a FOOL at ALS saying he never took kit because the slower runners would help him out. (To$$er)
I'm sure he's probably right, but I wouldn't want to risk it. I would carry something if I thought it was needed myself. A friend of mine tore a calf on the ALS a few years back right at the furthest point and had a very cold walk back with no kit. Didn't do him any harm but I'm sure it wasn't fun!

Was nice weather last year if I remember rightly. Coming out of retirement for this one so I expect to be out a bit longer than last year!
Retirement? What's up with you Will!

After a no-show last year, I'm well hacked off again not to be attending, as my Heel has been very painful the past few weeks ('Harriers v Cyclists' was my last race)
Attempts to run have met with grimaces & limps
Buggeration!!!
Aiming to be something like fit (ha!!) for Ilkley Moor
Good luck tomorrow everyone!!

Ee up, if you're coming today please read this weather notice ....
Because of snow, Penistone Hill is only accessible by 4*4's today we reckon so we recommend you park in Howarth/near the Old Sun Inn and walk up to the race. Allow a little more time for travel.
The senior race course will be shortened to The Stoop course.

Well done to the Woodentops on getting a race on.
Another excellent production and results are photographed at this link. http://www.woodentops.org.uk/
Does anyone know who the guys filming and photographing at stanbury splash yesterday were?
Thanks to all those who pushed my car out of a ditch yesterday. I had already scraped it along a wall on the way down into Oxenhope. An embarrassing and expensive morning, but at least I managed the race without injury.
