The light makes it look like a painting, and the runner up ahead on the crest adds a feeling of chasing someone down, or watching someone disappear into the distance, as the case may be!

Okay I've been known to take the odd photo while out running (I have something like 33,000 photos on my external hard drive at the minute and ooh maybe 20,000 of them are running photos ). Anyway here's one of my favourites - me, Hester and Harry had been on a seriously untracked run up and over a couple of hills (Crachabal and Laibheal a Tuath) on the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides - here's Hester and Haz, and we're all heading for the little sandy beach below for a well deserved post run swim:
