Too many players camped outside their box waiting for something to happen. Rooney was the only one looking to isolate their players and create some space or a man over....

It's probably no bad thing for expectations to be reduced. As was suggested by the pundits after last night's game, England might have more success playing against a better team who don't park the bus. The flip side I suppose is that our somewhat shaky defence will receive a stiffer test.
