Who were that then? He never got in touch about it.It'll be the 4th official fastest time ever (KJ, BB, RJ), though in actually the 5th as there was tat scottish bloke from COlorado who did 14:20 but mainly unsupported a few years back.

Without me you'd be one place nearer the back
Ryan Smith, 14:17 in 2017. But he was unsupported for bits, hence no contact with the BG club.
He also went to the wrong Great End summit, so we'll dock him a minute or 2

There was a thread about his attempt here - https://forum.fellrunner.org.uk/show...tempts-the-BGR
Looking through my emails there's an email trail between, Ryan, Morgan and myself, completely slipped my mind that we'd conversed. At the time we (well I) didn't record solo or part solo rounds, occasionally I'd get a form along with a note along the lines of "This is is for your records, I understand and accept that it isn't a qualifying round", so I don't have anything beyond what's in his blog about the Round. I do now record non-qualifying rounds, as well as second/subsequent rounds so I might drop him a line.
