There was a programme on BBC Scotland last night called 'The Queens Realm' which was basically an aerial tour of a lot of Scotland by helicopter. Quite interesting in and of itself ("It's expensive to run a car on the islands, petrol is nearly £1 a gallon...") There was quite a bit of coverage of the 1976 Ben Race. If you can access this online or by iPlayer or something it's worth seeing.
