A bit of a novelty in the calendar, being uphill only, and at night. Tuesday 14th November.
From the Ragleth Inn, Little Stretton, up to the Trig Point on Pole Bank at the top of the Mynd.
A glance at last year's results and 25mins would put you right up with a chance of winning.
I ran a similar ascent in 25mins last year during the first part of a longer race.... although this was during the day, starting a couple of hundred metres down the road from the pub, and i cut off before the cairn to take a short-cut.
That said, that would have been equivalent to about 27-28mins, and that previous race was on battered legs, and i had another 45mins of running still do to after that climb.... if i can handle running hard on the fells with a head-torch (which i haven't done for a couple of years), i reckon i can get amongst it on this one.
