What's wrong with my ankle?

Any ideas? I went to the NHS physio, and she reckoned that a) 30 miles a week was Too Much for anyone's legs to cope with and b) my silly old fell shoes need Much More Cushioning.

If Gaz sees this thread I am sure he will give you a quick diagnosis. I have had the same problem for about 9 months, when I hyper extend my foot forwards as you describe. Not sure if there is anything you can do but there are lots of experts on this forum who know beter than me. The solution to everything seems to be doing strange stretching excercises whilst balanced on your tiptoes on the bottom step.
