Would I confide in one of my rivals, Colin? OK! I wore New Balance off road shoes today going for comfort and stability on the firmer sections rather than speed, so prepared maybe to sacrifice a few seconds on the wetter sections. p.s. didn't realise that the main thread is elsewhere so have also posted there.
