Gary....or anybody for that matter.
How much climbing would one get by climbing big end alone? From the wall at the bottom, up to the top?I only ask as I'd like to know how much we'd have to do to make your 3009ft epic, into a 4000ft beast without adding in any considerable milage?
Ps I'm still up for this coming Saturday for the 3009fter again!
I'm back over at the working side of the divide unfortunately mate!
Deffo throw in a climb up big end, I nearly always do it, most rewarding with the spring at the top to quench your thirst!

Garys Beast: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/167126165#
Its giving me 2,708ft. I did stop the watch before we dropped down from the summit to the fresh spring, and forgot to start it again until we'd had our fill of lovely water. But that shouldnt of lost us any climbing?
I'll do exactly the same again this Saturday and use it as a comparison.
Ne'er mind Gary's Beast, what happened to Softie's Monster? :closed:
