No. Not had the time recently. Been doing the odd 5 x 40 just to keep me at a decent level for when I can have another crack. Too much on at work and not enough time when I get home :(

....erm..... yeh me too... too busy :o
Ok ok so i fell off the wagon. Got to week 5 day 1 which I just couldn't quite do. Gave up for a little while, then surprised myself by dropping back to week 4 day 1 and it was a breeze (well... sort of in a painful hard work uncomfortable sort of way  )
Will try again I think :)
Loving these work-outs.
Currently doing all 3 of them @ Level 3. Cruising through week 2 now.
Cheers for bringing them to my attention.
Wk 4, Day 1, Col 3
21/25/21/21/max 29(3 short of tgt)
Doing this after the burpees with the press ups built in was, erm, interesting. Last 3 sets needed a couple of rests. Will need to repeat this week I think, either that or drop to wk 3 if doing at same time as burpees.

Down a week on last time but at least I can complete (just) after the burpees-with-press-ups. Starting level found! Onwards and upwards:D
I sometimes get a cracking headache when I'm doing press-ups - any idea what that's about?
:D hee hee I just spat my coffee out reading that !
ZHR I sometimes find that I feel pressure in my forehead, so not quite a head ache but if I kept going it would probably start to hurt  not good.
Well done SS :D Let us know how you get on
I fell off the wagon a bit with mine & have just been ticking over... In fact I am just about to start again on the challenge- I seem to have leveled out at week 4 column 2 day 3.
Addagirl!:D
it's from nothing to a really blinding headache within 30 secs - but normally when doing high intensity stuff, i.e., circuit-training.
I had thought it was forgetting to breathe, as SS says - and it might be.
But once it starts, no amount of breathing will get rid of it ...
Time off press-ups for no legitimate concrete reason last week.
Kicked back in at the comfortable Week 4 Column 3 :)
Starting this off again at Week 1 and Day 1.
I've not lost all the ability, I just think its harder to keep starting midway through :)
they had us doing timed press-ups the other night: you perform the press-up on a scale of 1 (arms straight) to 5 (chest almost to floor) and hold it for as long as the instructor takes to call out the next number
it was emotional ...
On week two day two, but... third column. In my youth (Some 22 years ago), I could do 54 one handed push ups. However, time, like girth, has crept up on me. Looking forward to challenging the young gym rat, 25 years my junior, to a push up comp at work when I hit the 100 target.
Did start on the challenge some time ago but now have to admit 100 in a row has been too hard..........but have incorporated press-ups(25*4) and sit-ups into me training, and feel the benefit in core strength.keeps me weight down an all.:D
Just tried to start this, and found that I can't even do 3 press ups! I'm doing them like they say on the website, starting from the prone position and lifting up, this is harder than I remember, I think I've never ever done press ups properly...
Well I think I'll do the program with the knee press ups, then repeat with real press ups after that.
I'm going to have a go at this too. I'm trying to get back into running but the 100 push up thing will give me something to go at if the old injuries flare up again.
Managed 20 good ones in a row last night so I've printed up the training programme and will kick things off tonight...
Had a bit of a go again at this, just managed 65 non-stop,try to add another 10 onto that in a couple of days.
Yes I am back on the wagon (fallen off about 4 times :o )
Back to week 3, day 1 for me :(
Gonna pick up in my full burpees. If I can manage 100 of those with the press up, I'll be happy saying I've done this by default. Might do day 2 of the burpee challenge using hand-clap press-ups!
Knee playing up again has meant no burpees, and more importantly no running. In need of something to focus on, I'm back on these and have quietly been making good progress. Now on the penultimate week (wk5) and having a crack at day 2 tonight. Tuesday was day 1, and saw 170 press-ups over 5 sets with 60sec rest. Tonight it's 185 over 8 sets and 45secs rest.
This time, the Hundred's mine!
End of Wk 5 max test: 85. Only 1 week & 15 more to go.
268 to do tonight over 9 sets w/ 45secs rest and that's week 6 complete. Then a couple of extra day's rest then an attempt on the hundred.
105
Interesting thread and challenge. Have decided to try this. Started 4 days ago with 15 and have decided to try and do 1 extra every day for the next 85 days!
Managed 19 ok this morning slightly achy.
Anyone else ever tried doing it thias way?

Ummmm....errrr.... *caught out* :o
I tend to hover around weeks 3 - 4 to be honest. I have a bit of a push (once made the beginning of week 5!) - then the lazy-bum in me emerges and I slip back again. I suppose being at that kind of level isn't too bad. But maybe I should have yet another go
Yep. Did week 3 day 1 AGAIN this week
Hi All,
Update to my post on the 27th May when I mentioned that I was trying to do the 100 press-up challenge by increasing the amount by 1 per day,
Doing ok so far up to 42 this morning, have also included doing sit-ups at the same rate, so 42 of them as well.
Still not sure if this is going to work, but so far so good.

 If it's working, it's working!! Keep us posted on progress.
Update from June 19th last post.
Have moved on to 55 today, still increasing by one per day, so far have not missed any days.
Also have now added squats to press ups and sit ups. So 55 of each.
Still not sure if this is going to work, obviously it is getting harder each day, especially the press ups having aching arms from the previous day.
Only 45 days to go!!

To late to join in with this i suppose?
Hi all,
Another week gone,
62 press-ups, squats and sit-ups today, not missed any days so far,
