Haworth Hobble

As long as I avoid having a club mate say to me "you look rough" on the way up to Stoodley Pike I'll be happy :closed:

Anyone know what the Hobble is like for late entries ?

I won't know if I can do it til Friday and entries officially closed yesterday.

Hoka Combo XT for me. Got them on Friday as after reading some reviews I thought they'd help my arthritic right. Tried them over the weekend and am very impressed :).

What's the current thinking on the route at Stiperden House Farm. It's frustrating slogging through the swamp while everyone else cruises past you down the lane. Official view?

if the race organiser asks us to stay off the lane then we should. (i agree it seems daft- why the farmer wants us eroding his field and not the track is beyond me)

I've been wondering when the H word would start to crop up in these parts.
I reckon I may well have been the only one in Hokas last year - it was like the emperor's new clothes. They were a bit embarrassing - but only until I bounded, bounced and boinged past about twenty people on the track down to Hurstwood Reservoir. Honestly, it's the closest thing you can get to mountain biking without actually being on a mountain bike!

I reckon there'll be Hokas galore on view in downtown Haworth on Saturday.

They'll never catch on, though - not "fashionable" enough...

Hokas? I didn't think the Hobble was fancy dress :closed:

We are cycling to Haworth from Leeds, if anyone fancies joining us?
