I'd go with trail shoes, even if it's wet. There's many miles of hard track surfaces, & fell shoes would be hard on the feet. I'll be in Roclite 315s.

I'll be in Hoka Mafates so everyone can laugh at my giant clown feet on skinny legs, Max Wall springs to mind, hope I don't hit any walls
