Hey Chocolate Chops, do you want one of my maps for tomorrow ?
I've heard about those 'Clayton maps'! Who's got chocolate on their chops anyway?
Chocolate Chops ~ one our newer forumites.
I'm joining the miserable posse with Hanneke. I've been ill all week since Burley Bridge (dizzy, muscle ache, temperature, headache) and hoped I'd get over it in time for Pendle, but have finally had to admit defeat. I guess that all those symptoms are to be expected after you've finished, but aren't a good thing to have at the start. So I'm going to be sensible and give it a miss. Good luck to everybody who's doing it, wish I could be there with you. Can't wait for Pendle 2009...
someone please take me a map
Been following this thread all week.
It's my first bash at the Tour tomorrow.
Been round the route during training, packed my kit, planned an acheivable finish time .....
Why am I still nervous?
Race plan is to get to CP4 in 1 hour 55 mins then head over to the wellsprings, have a lunch, a quick nap then finish the rest of the race approx 8 hours after setting off.
Good luck all.
Novel approach :D
Early night for me as I need to be up at 4 ...... it's a bit of a drive :(
My race plan is to finish, have a great time and meet a load of forumites!
I'm gonna go get my kit ready now. I've decided on my outfit now. I look fabulous!
Then I'm going to settle down with a bottle of Pedigree that I've just been talked into! (cheers Dom ;) )
Alas I'm back up north.
Just driven 300 miles to get a good kip before tomorrow.
Siz yall there.
Wow thats commitment MX. I'm just 10 miles away.
It's looking fairly settled and is pretty warm at the mo.
Been a nice 'soft day' up here today. Finger crossed it stays the same for tomorrow.
See you at the bar for a swift half at lunch time?
I'm the one who has packed water proofs, map and credit card.
GAH!
After tonights bikeride, the ankle actually does not feel half bad... but it really would be a silly idea to run this :-(
So why am I still reading thsi thread and be tempted???
Would definitely be shorts for me by the way :D
