Have the muddy conditions made anyone decide to change their planned footwear? :confused:
I was still thinking of wearing my Mizuno Wave Harrier trail shoes, which aren't the best for grip but they are what I have trained in and i don't know how I would get on in my Innovate fell shoes.
I'll be bringing my v1 Mizunos along as well. Minimal grip(!) but they're bl*ody comfy, like slippers! As it's so wet, something a bit more "agressive" would lack the comfort on the hard bits. Does that make sense? :confused:Quote:

walshs for me.... I dont have owt else to take that much mud and water.
walshes are fine, certainly don't get f***ked up by the road
I'll be doing it in my Flyrocs. I don't fancy that much road and track in Mudclaws.
It will be salomon Speed Cross all the way for me.
Great on trail and mud, Good on rock and not bad at all on tarmac either.
Its just a great all round fell shoe.
Walshes for me too - they're fine on the road. Unfortunately they don't have nearly enough grip for the mud and water that's below PyG and Ingleborough right now ;).
IDP, are you running in mudclaws
my flyrocks are in a pitiful state
