A couple of recipes featured here have caught my attention and will be tried in the near future.
Here is my contribution of a ‘no faffing’ malt loaf that I make on a weekly basis:
12oz SR Flour
6 oz Sultanas
5 oz Sugar
3 oz Ovaltine
½ pint milk
Mix all the dry stuff together then add milk, put in a greased loaf tin and cook in a 150’c oven for approx 75 min
Anyone got a recipe for hot-cross buns? Some nice tasty traditional ones please? :)
