Nice one Ady - I will of course have to run this myself now :D. I told you that wall off Whernside went on a bit.

Biked back home. Long way over the tops. One biggish (1000") climb and some smaller ones, little traffic, love it. 70 mins, long time for only 12 miles but no rush. No road rage either.:D
Short run today 4.35 miles on the treadmill at work this afternoon
5 miles AM
13 miles PM
Lots of fireworks being let off around Sale and Alty.
80 minutes of marshes, woods and farmland this morning and 56 minutes of golf course with a head torch earlier this evening.
48.29mins around The Chew...Out with the larks, nothing moving in The Chew at 5.30am...perfect, still and quiet....misty and warm...
Great way to start the day :)
Nice hour and bit off-road with club from the Front Room, Connonley last night. Bit of a headache this morning - put it down to the smokey Bonfire Night air; obviously nothing to do with the half-gallon of Tim Taylor's Ram Tam I had after the run ;) :D
Squeezed in a steady 4 miles at lunch, no time for a shower so a bit grotty all pm. Nothing too hard as a track session is on the cards for later.
No but I did the half the year before, the bolding look is very popular at clayton!;)
5.2 miles up on Hobson Moor at lunchtime
5 miles AM
15 min warm up, 40 min hard tempo (Greenfield, Dovestones, back to Greenfield and top road to Mossley) 15 min warm down. 70 mins total.
One week of hile mileage and two weeks of easing down followed by race day.
Great track.
10 mins strength work
20 min wu
lost count of the number of 200s with jog in between:eek:
couple more efforts and warm down
calves a bit tight now, will probably rest tomorrow
Before I moved up here I didn't know Taylor's had anything other than Landlord. I well remember going in the Fleece in Howarth with Keighley and Craven on a Wednesday night for the first time and finding a whole range to choose from - I was like a kid in a sweetshop!! :D
5 miles on the roads tonight. Quite tired tonight after a 5am start to the day with Olivia wanting to play followed by a long day at work.
10 x 600 metres with 200 metres jog recovery in a group being towed along by Olivia Walwyn
Yesterday 7.5 fast (for me) XC including 2 miles of freshly plowed clay fields
Today a somewhat nausea inducing 1hr run with 15 minute warm run, 30 minutes intervals, 15 minute cool down run
Thursday was my rest day-50 lenghts of the local pool:o
Friday went out on the bike, only 15 miles but it was all up hill.....Honest...Well apart from the steep descents;) but no flat bits.
up down up down ^^^^^ a hill session on a bike whatever next. :D
Which Tri's in 2009 are you targeting IanDP?
This week oi have mainly been.....
Sun - Nowt unless letting off steam watching the Super Rams get robbed by some Red Dogs and a dodgy ref counts.
Mon - Pilates "squeeze and breathe". Didn't help alleviate the stress of the day before.
Tues- Spinning class.
Wed - Nowt
Thurs- 1 hour technique swim. Winter Handicap Club Race in the evening eye balls out.
Fri- Spinning class. Finally calming down from Sunday's debacle what with it being National De-stress Day.
Tommorrow - 1 1/2 hour run with the dogs followed by 2 hour hilly road ride with the Mrs.
8 Miles easy by the side of the canal in Hyde and around the Tame Valley Park
1:25:06hr (25 mins of which was Tempo pace @ 85% of Max HRR)..Warm up in lower Chew and then Tempo up over Wimberry - Alphin - Wimberry - Stable Stones......Recovery pace via descent from Wimberry and thru the Plantation...to finish...
A great run :)
5 mile run around local resevoir . cool and sunny
Nothing all week, leg twatted, jog up to stoodly pike tommorow to watch sheperds skyline then hopefully get back into it next week
About 5 miles around a dark and drizzly park on Tuesday night (in Ovenden of all places) and 6.5 miles this lunch time up the canal and around the golf course in Leeds.
I've got a confession to make - I've been running on the road again. 2 laps of village with a bit added on and 5mins faster than a couple of weeks ago. Worse still I was wearing white socks :( Heaven knows where this will all end, listening to an I-pod, white shoes, a proper training schedule or heaven forbid the track!
You didn't run down the bypass a bit as well, did you? ;)
Tuesday - 10miles including a couple of five minute efforts-had to slow down on third-started to feel effects of grotty air.
Wed & Thur-air too crappy and still to attempt to run.
Fresher tonight-gentle 5 and chest felt fine.
Looking foward to do shepherds Skyline tommorrow:D
A lazy week so far as far as running goes - 3 hilly road miles tonight was only second run since Sunday, looking forward to a 90mins+ run tomorrow.
20 hill sprints up Jutland St behind Piccadilly station. Making the best of a bad situation.
...got my arse in to gear and kept to my word!!
1hr 43 mins (c11 miles) Meanwood Park to & around Eccup Reservoir & back. Glad I wore the mudrocs despite a missing bridleway sign meaning a mile of reservoir road (at least there was grassy verge to run along) instead of sections of Leeds Country Way.
A rare appearance for at our club's Saturday session. Mega session it was too.
20 minutes (3 minutes recovery)
6 minutes (2 minutes recovery)
3 minutes (2 minutes recovery)
6 minutes
With warm up and warm down / commuting - 12.7 miles total
Bl**dy work, 8 hr day turned into a 12 hr day so no run for me today...will just plan a longer run tomorrow after work.....:)
5.35 mile XC run today had hoped to do a long run but family commitments meant I will have to wait till tomorrow.
Yesterday:
Dropped my lad off at his climbin club and managed to get in a reasonable hilly tempo run. Good 20 mins of good effort, 30 reasonable and the rest easy. Covered about 8.5 miles with 900" of climb in 67 mins. Calves a bit tired in the last 2 miles.
