Deejay were you that bloke in a bobble hat and macintosh I passed running up Ben Nevis the other day with mountain gear consisting of an umbrella and carrier bag? :D. It was raining, windy and pretty bleak above 700 metres and needless to say when I passed him again as I was going down the umbrella had imploded!

I think a fell runner carrying an umbrella will add a touch of sophistication to the event ;)

You spotted one of my assistants on one an umbrella trial run:eek:. I think all teething troubles have now been overcome

Oh and when you say when you "passed him again" does this mean that at some point he passed you?:D

He could have easily done... like Mary Poppins :D. I over took him going up and then met him again head on as I was going down again.

I think you should lead the charge out of Rosthwaite Deejay, shouting tally ho or something, with your umbrella held above your head like a sword. You're clearly officer material; you'll look like you're going over the top armed with a swagger stick!
