I went back a couple of weeks ago and checked out the route from Dicks Lane into Broadhead valley. Continue on to the next boundary stone after that, then take a small path to the right just after this. When this path forks take the left option - this then leads directly to the marker posts at the head of the valley. Something like that anyway....

Yes that's the way. Where that small path goes off there is also a small barrel-shaped rock (as an extra check that you've got the right spot).

Hoping to trog round in the next few days. is there a list of completions to log it with or do youjust post your time on here and someone else complies a list or is there no list.

Since then there is has been a new record of 2-24 but as it says on the first page the elite time is sub - 3 hours which is looking quite generous now. I will be changing it for 2011 !!

Here is the latest update of completions. There are 38 in total so far with a new records of 2-23 for the official White Lion start and 2-34 for an (unofficial) en-route start. There have also been a couple of doubles so that is a new category. Still only one lady finisher so far!
