We stayed in the same B&B as the Russians and they seemed remarkedly miserable given their success.
I hope you were tongue-in-cheek about the pre-race alcohol abstinence! I tried that as an experiment a few weeks ago, and my times hit the pits, which proved conclusively that allowing your beer level to drop is not good for running. But then - what were they testing for in the dope tent?Quote:
