Just come across some 2008 race pics:

There were LOADS of folk snapping on the day! Anyone know of other sites?

    P&B won the mens
    Russian team won the womens

We stayed in the same B&B as the Russians and they seemed remarkedly miserable given their success.

I hope you were tongue-in-cheek about the pre-race alcohol abstinence! I tried that as an experiment a few weeks ago, and my times hit the pits, which proved conclusively that allowing your beer level to drop is not good for running. But then - what were they testing for in the dope tent?

Yes, that's what slowed me down .
By Ingleborough summit, I was no longer capable of the necessary gyrations and the hoops slumped to my ankles, leaving me shivering in a vest adorned only by a lonely ram's head. (Not mine; the CVFR logo.)

Millipede, some of those photos on flickr are fantastic, aren't they? Loads of possible 'Fellrunner' covers...

BritNick, I've signed onto Snapfish but it doesn't seem to want to let me view your album. Any idea what I have to do?

aye t'was me - cheers for passing the bottle backwards. I was battling the cramp at that point and had just shoved a load of salt in my mouth so the water was well timed.
