1 Hour on roads tomorrow p.m. with one long sustained hill in the middle of the route
steady 11 miles along the canal to portland basin & back :)
Easy 5.65 miles this morning. Proper session later.
Planning steady 8 miles or so starting from Holme village tonight and taking in Black Hill and thereabouts. Mild out, hope the rain holds off.
Second 3 and a bit mile run on road since New Year, and knee seems to be holding up okay.
Fingers crossed I'll be in the hills in a couple of weeks!!

I did my 2nd beginners training day today. Although not about to tell you how far i did, you lot can do that in your sneezes~!
1:13:09hr Recovery pace (HR below 70% Max HR). Alphin - Wimberry, heavy going underfoot across the peat towards Wimberry. Lovely and peaceful not a soul around :)
40 minute blast on the road,first run since calderdale,felt great to be out,bring on edale
4.6 miles hilly road. Felt crap beforehand but forced myself out and think I enjoyed it!!:)
Back to running an easy 20 min run over the pasture on very soft ground rather than the roads tonight with the headtorch.

8 minutes @ 10k pace (2 minutes recovery)
3 minutes @ 3k pace (2 minutes recovery)
followed by
4 x 30 seconds (45 seconds recovery)

1:23:46hr. Greenfield - Plantation - descent to bridge nr sailing club - bridge to Duckstones at 80-85% max HR, gave 14mins of climbing (atop the Duckstone) - then recovery pace to Fox Stone, descent to Res, ascent to the Tank boulder, thru Plantation and home...All in all a great little outing :)
Another 3 and a bit miles on the road. No knee niggles. Things are looking up!
