Me and Marvin got to within 20 m of a Buzzard perched on the pillar of lady Cross this morning. saw track of a fox and lots of mountain Hare looking grubby against the snow

Spotted a kestrel by Canal St Manchester (:o er, I was just running past...honest!:D).
Was happily tucking into a KFC chicken piece on the floor. I stopped and watched it for a bit from a distance of about 3ft. Just kept eating and looking at me.

Didn't see as many hares as usual yesterday. only 5-8 but the snow filled cloughs were covered in tracks.

A buzzard over Three Shires Head in the glorious sunshine. It may also have been doing an impersonation, but I wasn't close enough to hear it.

Lovely walk this afternoon by Wharfe after Ilkley race. Highlights included five or six Dippers, Grey Wagtail, Oystercatcher and lovely close-up view of Heron flying over Barden Bridge :)

Guess what I've just seen?!!! An Eagle owl.
Up on the chimney of King Street Studios at Pateley Bridge, 9.30pm. It was enormous and a young policeman showed up with a high powered torch and we got a really clear look at its huge eyes and tufty ears before it flew away. Blooming amazing.

...and a bit confusing when DT changes his location back ;) Cape wagtails very common over here :confused: The twitchers will be flocking (no pun intended) to Keighley :D

I didn't see the vole but I saw its tracks.
Also saw the tracks of a fox nearby...probably hunting the vole!

An owl was following me round the playing fields behing my house last night whilst i lapped it.
It kept giving a screetch every so often...i wonder if i was disturbing mice?
No idea what owl it was, perhaps a tawny?
