Any reps with Amoxycilin 500mg? That's what I've spent all last week doing... :(

tried registering at new docs yest, took letter from old doc informing me they had struck me off due to change of address, since this wasn't a utility bill or bank statement, i had to go home to get more proof of address, tried to make an appointment, but was told it would have to wait a few days til i was on the system.
anyhoo haven't got green/coloured phlegm yet so probably wouldn't be given antibiotics.
just wondering if i do actually have an immune system, maybe its on holiday somwhere sunny.
Funny how you always seem to get into the docs some 3 or 4 days in the future by which time (more often than not) you're OK.
Ratfink - I told a porkie pie and made out that my chest had been bad for AGES but I'd given up soldiering on. Short cut to getting the pills! :p
20 or so hill reps today. Descent was great fun...in my sledge!!:D:D
my legs a buggerd from running kendal winter leauge fairmile then day after lothersdale fell race
not sure alf. i had chest infection late november, then flu thing over xmas (bad leg aches etc) - not as achy this time, more coughy than previous 2 - think this winter being alot colder than the previous few has really affected me. sure i get my share of exposure to lergies on the train to work - have to start wearing japanese style face mask or living in a bubble. (running round like one of those hamsters in a ball and zorbing down the hills) - try to build up gradually after these thing, maybe its still too quick.
Hill reps in the fields (5 off) tough to maintain traction, got a mega sweat on.
5 mile treadmill run at the JJB tonight.
1 hour inn gym doing weights
I can sympathise there as my workplace uses a recirculated air system continually passing the bugs round generously till you catch one:eek:
I have taken it slowly and cancelled a few planned races because of my particular bug just to build up my fitness/strength again and Winter Hill will be my first test on Sunday to see if all is well.
Hope you recover fully and get back running at full strength soon.
4.5 mile road run this morning, it must have been cold as I kept my hat and gloves on all the way round, I usually take them off after a mile or so:)
just done a steady 1hour 10 mins steady, legs still blasted from mickleden come down stairs on me ass again this morning.
you shouldn't run so fast then should you;)
Went with Russ this morning to drop his car off at Hillsborough Barracks.
Ran back through the park and along Don river to Oughtibridge then through Wharncliffe wood which was amazing, back along Ewden valley and over Stocksbridge Golf course.
Ski tracks in the woods and around Ewden and the Golf course.
10 mile in total

Hoping to get up Mickledon Tommorrow. Any takers?
Looks like flippin' Narnia! :p
Hour or so in snow with clubmates tonight. Got lost in an area of huge boggy tussocks with knee-deep snow over them. Excellent!! :D
Have now moved from reps with amoxycilin (last week) to sessions with cefalexin 500mg <cough, cough> in an attempt to get my chest right! :(
Not happy.
aw man -i managed to get a doctors appointment for this morning, hope you're well soon jan.
i got erythromycin - they are a scary red colour!
i fear we may be diminishing people's psyche with our illness woes - come on everyone - i want you to do my training by proxy, so i can vicariously enjoy the snow, as such i want to hear about more sledging hill reps and snowball fight circuit training.

4 miles on towpaths , trails , in snow innov8 goretex were excellent
No cycling today given the snow this morning so I decided upon a rehabilitation walk/run to see how my soleus strain would be. I have had physio on it and have been doing specific stretches and it felt OK so I gave it a whirl and all seems fine. Will try a couple of shortish road runs over the next couple of days and if no niggles then I will pressume fixed :)
7 mile around the hilly roads of Ewden valley running mondays race route.
Had to wear studs as there is still lots of snow about.
I still feel like my legs are dead, no spring in the step and really struggleing on the hills but on the plus side I didn't stop once. a step in the right direction excuse the pun
Took my running club out in the snowy woods at lunchtime.
Got some ace photos of them in their luminous jackets (and matching leg warmers for some) against the snow and the trees.
8k up to Top of Pike and back.....some good snow drifts to negotiate on the way.
160 mile drive
1 Mcdonalds double sausage and egg mcMuffin
1 Oatso simple porridge with syrup

2 toast

oh and a grapefruit
15 miles yesterday and 10 miles today, both in two runs. No club session tonight :(
Just wondered what your PB's are and what distances you are training for. Judging from your posts on here you should be running very quick over half marathons, 10ks and maybe full marathons. Wonder if you are training smart enough to reach the full potential that your training merits.
If this is personal then no worries, I am just curious.
5 mile treadmill run tonight at the JJB felt much stronger on the treadmill than earlier in the week.
5m off road to work over Norland Moor, never saw a soul, they don't know what they missed, it was like a scene off a Christmas card or one of Stolly's photo's:cool:
Weights only today - shoulders and back, with some stretching of quads, glutes and ITB. Getting back on my feet next week...touch wood.
4 mile (snowy) road yesterday morning 30 mins
45 mins on turbo in afternoon 10 x 1min hard off 90 sec
steady run today 6 - 7 miles
Look where I've been today.
I saw our footprints from Wednesday, running straight past the stile.
A selection of my PBs - 5k 15-24, 10k 32-00, 10 miles 53-21, half 73-14, 15 miles 84-49, 20 miles 1-55-03, marathon 2-38-40
None of which were done in recent years. Currently focusing on ultras but still doing enough shorter racing to keep what speed I have left.
PS just one run today 5.7 miles
