All set, leaving in 3 hours and really looking forward to it. Hopefully be OK for the run. Really struggled at a local 10K run yesterday because of this bloody flu thing that's going around. On the mend now though

I'm ready to rumble.......... although my knee just spasmed painfully coming down the stairs . Another injury from descending too recklessly :)
So let me get this right.... We're meeting at Moot Hall at 10 and then driving to Braithwaite and then running from there?

"Moot Hall" Correct:D
"10am" Correct:D
"Driving" Correct:D
"Running from" Incorrect Run from Braithwaite, not There;)
Right, I know it's a bit organised but I've now booked a bed for the night  See everyone t'moz at 10am Moot Hall. Being as I'm getting my act together a bit I'm going to do some 'early' Christmas shopping this afternoon! ;):)
ALL
The meet is at MOOT Hall at 10 am we will sort our shit out from there, run will start from the car park at the base of the steps on way up grisdale, the car park is half a mile out of Braithwaite village on the road up the the Forrest.
god this is way to organised for me :D
Reet, leaving tomorrow morning, so if I'm late, don't wait I'll either catch up (unlikely) or wait in the pub (what do you think!)
In the heavy training phase at the moment, doing reps of 4 pints per hour with a fartlek of a cheeky little red , til exhaustion/ passing out. Going to do a bit of gyrating so I'm well warmed up for the loft. Sewn the sequins on to my mankini. See you there DT ;)
I presume you mean Rose Royce?
Or do you mean an 8 track in a Rolls Royce?

Ill meet you guys in a pub somewhere before the meal. Me and the missus are having a wander round some small hills around Whinllater.
Then getting the poles out for a walk round keswick in our new outdoor gear.
Someone text me when you get back from your run if you go for pre-meal drinky poos.
Jamie
Hope you all enjoy yourselves tomorrow.
So where was it again?? I hate early starts! :(
Sorry everyone but I'm now not coming. My daughter goes to America in a few days time for 5 months and she wants to go for a run with me instead. She even offered to come along to Braithwaite but I resisted the potential naffness of introducing her to a bunch of my 'virtual' running friends :D.
Have fun Stolly. Dom, never mind the early start, I can't find my Buff and I've got to set off soon :D
Y'all have an excellent time, i'm off toWORK:(:)
Rose Royce  you're right Morgan. Sat in car by Castlerigg Stone circle - looks like being a decent day! Enjoy your work :p

Thanks everyone for a really cracking day yesterday followed by great night out in Keswick. Steve was well on the way to retaining his endurance dancing crown and a good outside bet for next year's Strictly winner when I staggered out of the Loft around 1.30am ;). I seem to have got my re-hydration badly wrong and feel poorly this morning; I reckon the electrolyte levels of Jennings is different to Tim Taylors and I possibly had a half a pint too much
Don't know why, but you all look like your in tights, and your about to do the Swan Lake ballet!!!
But you still all look very cute!!! bless, hope you all had fun...and took care of the only lady in the group!!!
Looks like a good day was had.
Pics look okay...but sorry to see so little PINK!!!! Would not have been looking so dull if myself and Emmi had been able to make it! :D
Well done for promoting the vest Amex...
Deejay...what happened?!!! x
Not a hint of hangover this morning, mustn't have been trying, didn't go to the Loft though.
Excellent day and night out and thanks to everyone who helped to make it so, esp. Amex for "organising" it.
What happened? Well, on this day in 1814 - The War of 1812 between the U.S. and Britain was ended with the signing of the Treaty of Ghent in Belgium.
And in 1818 - Franz Gruber of Oberndorf, Germany composed the music for "Silent Night" to words written by Josef Mohr.
Will that do:p:D
