Herakles....well done for doing your best Matt...you were brave...sorry to hear you didn't get round....there's plenty more out there waiting for you though :cool:

You did really well Mountain Goatess, don't apologise for going ahead at all! I wouldn't have been able to keep up and was quite happy at the pace I was at, just a shame everyone else was quite a bit faster which increased my chances of getting lost !!!!!!!...anyhoo, it was a lovely day wasn't it and so nice to see everyone, defo going back next year as i have surely got one in the bag in terms of improving my "personal best!!!!!!" (oh lordy!)

Thankyou to Wynn, Steve and the big team that make this event possible. It has become an amazing event and how Wynn books the weather Im not sure.
Everything about the day is what fellracing is all about.
I managed a prize before the day when the lovely young lady gave me a chocolate cake as I signed in. ( that doesnt happen very often to me ).
Sorry If I caused a problem with my number blowing on my shorts. It was 148 and I think it looked like 48. I informed Steve at the finish and looks like the backroom results team sorted it out.

Well done to every one of you Anniversary Waltzers. Some quality performances there. Got to a first podium finish for the Fell Poets Society, well done triple H. As for you Al, if that is taking it easy then you will be some prospect when you put you foot down. Congrats to you all. I would love to have a go but was too busy trashing my body around London for 26 miles. Maybe next year.
